New white belt here, just getting into BJJ. Have attended group and private lessons with Professor Joao and I'm hooked (literally and figuratively)! Joao is a wonderful, positive communicator and does a fantastic job demonstrating and walking you through the techniques step-by-step. His gym is welcoming and friendly but the training is challenging and focused, and I leave class exhausted and with something new to work on or think about every time. Very happy I found this gym!
